It is a joy to be a caregiver.

Caregiving is a great way to understand other people.
I do want to pursue health care because of the opportunities I have to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.

Being a CDCP is a great way to give back.

A big thing I learned just being a caregiver is it also gives back to you. You will have that character trait in you to be compassionate towards yourself and towards others.

Having a CDCP certification looks great on your college application.

Colleges will love that I’ve done this kind of certification and have this kind of background knowledge before I even start college.

Getting a certification is widening your horizon to a different degree. And when you put that on a college application, you stand out. It’s not the same as everybody else. And you have a tool in your toolbox that you can always keep with you.
With it being online I can do it at my own pace and I can do it whenever I have free time and I can really work it around my schedule.

I know a lot of my friends are interested in getting certifications in the healthcare field because it allows them to like get experience that would help them in their future.

This experience has not only helped me grow as individual, but I have so much compassion and empathy for the job I do for the work and for the people around me who work in health professions. I do want to pursue healthcare because I want to give back to others.
